When a person is young he or she keeps dream of joining college or any popular University. Everyone thinks that campus is all about having fun, having money, many boyfriends and girlfriends and most of all partying all damn night. But is it really like that? Here are some of the common factors that revolve around every campus.

  1. Attending classes – are classes really enjoyable? No I don’t think so πŸ˜”. Many of the students attend for the sake of not disappointing their parents. Not all but many of the students do that.
  2. Running out of cash – almost every student is in debts. Many of the students start borrowing from loans from upcoming creditors like Branch, mshwari, Tala as if it’s the order of the day. Many students are struggling here. If you have a child or a friend in campus make sure to send them some money once in a while.
  3. Drugs – yes drugs!! Like 99% of the students are in drugs. Every student believes that every Friday he or must have a taste of any drug be it alcohol.
  4. Peer pressure – some are influenced by other student. Stop following the mob just to be considered as a cool kid.
  5. Maintaining your looks – every person wanna look dope. However many students end up hating themselves since they have a low esteem with how they look.
  6. Relationships – everyone thought that struggling to have an awesome boyfriend or girl has come to an end. Well, no! Campus has the highest rate of lesbianism and homosexuality. They start turning to lesbians and gay when they feel relationship is not working as to what they were expecting.

Social media has affected many youths in negative ways. Many youths cannot work nonstop without having to touch their phones. It has influenced the youths positively and negatively. Below are some of the negative effects.

  1. Increased immorality – Many youths have engaged with immoral things e. g sex by watching pornography.
  2. Increased social crimes – e. g killings , drug abuse and so on. No and then we witness crimes occurring in case of any misunderstanding.
  3. Laziness – it has affected many youths in that they have turned out to be lazy. Youths cannot do chores within prescribed time without their phones.
  4. Ignorance – a scenario when your talking with your friends and they expect you to respond since they assume you were listening. But then again you can’t because your busy with social media.
  5. Fading of people’s culture – people adapt what they see . People will start to wear what they see people wearing in social media. Media has erased what people uphold in they societies.
  6. Wastage of time – that is when you see youths browsing the whole day without doing anything constructive.
  7. Reduction on social interaction – before social media became famous people used to interact well, exchanged ideas and building of confidence. Nowadays people are buried with their phones.
